“What is mental health”?
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. In other words, mental health influences how an individual reacts and thinks. The state of cognitive and behavioral wellbeing is referred to as mental health.
Mental health plays a big role on how an individual behaves, how they handle things, how they react to certain things and how they present themselves outside. Sometimes the stress of life can affect our mental health, mental health is about looking after our thoughts, feelings and emotions.
THINGS THAT CAN AFFECT OUR MENTAL HEALTH.
• Feeling low after losing someone you love.
• A traumatic event or physical health challenges.
• Stress at work or life stress.
Human behavior can change when mental health illness kicks in, mental health illness is a group of mental illness or symptoms that can hinder or affects ones thinking, perceptions, moods or behaviors. It’s affecting the persons mood and when the persons mood is affected, the behavior totally changes.
Mental illness causes depression and overthinking. Mental illness affects one’s social life and perceptions of what he/she believes.
Mental illness can be prevented through having a good knowledge of one’s mental health. “MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS”.
Mental health awareness: In 1949, America drafted a month for the awareness of mental health. To teach people on how to stay away from mental health illness. Taking care of your mind is equally as important to taking care of your body.
